Dans toute l’oeuvre d’Estelle Lagarde, il est question de cheminements pluriels. C’est de la rencontre avec une architecture, de l’appréhension d’une lumière et d’un certain écoulement du temps que naissent les narrations photographiques de l’artiste, échos à ses propres interpellations.
Ses mises en scène photographiques questionnent l’apparence de nos existences pour mieux explorer nos vies intérieures. Elles sondent de manière onirique, parfois avec humour ou décalage, les enjeux, petits ou grands, de nos existences. La spécificité de chacun des théâtres de ses prises de vues correspondant à telle ou telle interrogation.
Représentée par l’agence révélateur, elle collabore régulièrement avec la Little Big Galerie à Paris, Radial Contemporain à Strasbourg et la MH Gallery à Bruxelles.
Ses expositions sont à l’affiche de différents festivals et salons en France (Mois de la Photo 2017, Voies off, Manifesto, Fotofever etc.) et à l’étranger (Pingyao International Photography Festival, Bursa Photography Festival, Fotover etc.).
Finaliste du Prix International Women Photography Award en 2018, deux ouvrages ont été consacrés à ses travaux : La traversée imprévue (Editions La Cause des Livres ) et L’Auberge (Editions La Manufacture de l’Image).
Chaque photographe participant apprendra à "raconter un lieu par la mise en scène".
